Kirkland “Kirk” B. Andrews is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of New-York-based Consolidated Edison (“Con Edison”), one of the nation’s largest investor-owned energy-delivery companies.

He previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Evergy, Inc., a regulated utility holding company. Kirk led Evergy’s corporate financial functions, including treasury, accounting, planning, tax, capital allocation and investor relations. Prior to Evergy, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of NRG Energy, Inc., a Fortune 500 leader in integrated power. Before that, he served as a director for NRG Yield, a subsidiary of NRG, from 2012–2018 and as its executive vice president and chief financial officer until 2016, and he previously was chief financial officer of NRG subsidiary GenOn Energy, Inc.

Kirk joined NRG in 2011 after a successful 15-year career in investment banking, serving as managing director and co-head of investment banking for the Power & Utilities—Americas group at Deutsche Bank Securities. Before that, he served Citigroup Global Markets Inc. as managing director and head of its Power Mergers & Acquisitions group and subsequently group head of its North American Power Group. Over his banking career, Kirk led numerous large-scale strategic, debt, equity and commodities transactions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
