Edward W. Moore was elected senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer in 2013. He had been RPM's vice president and general counsel since 2007, adding the title of chief compliance officer in 2011. In addition, Edward serves as corporate secretary, a position he has held since 2007.
Before joining RPM, Edward was with the law firm Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP from 1982–2006. During his time at Calfee, he served in various capacities, including as a member of the firm's executive committee and co-chair of its Securities and Capital Markets Group.
Edward is a member of the American Coatings Association's legal and government affairs committee, as well as the Association of Corporate Counsel. In addition, he is a former director of The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, and a former council commissioner of the Greater Cleveland Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Edward received his bachelor's degree from Miami University (Ohio) and J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and Law Review. He and his wife Kimberley live in Bay Village, Ohio, and have three adult children, two children from the Democratic Republic of Congo and seven grandchildren.
